Agricola is the online catalog and index to the collections of the US National Agricultural Library. It is loaded as a datafile on many content aggregators (such as Dialog and STN). In addition, it is searchable for free on the National Agricultural Library website.
The database contains citations to printed materials and reference materials in other formats (including audiovisual materials, for instance). It has records for materials that date back to the 15th century.[1]
The name of the database,"Agricola," stands for "Agricultural Online Access" and is also the Latin word for "farmer."
