Online Help Features
Delphion help files are offered in English and Japanese. The help file is a collection of separate HTML pages as opposed to a single, searchable file or windows-style online help file, which can hinder searching efforts.
Calling Delphion for live help is accomplished by looking up the Thomson help hotline number. This number is difficult to find on the Delphion website: although sales contact information is presented on the “Contact” page, customer service requests are directed to the external Thomson website: http://www.scientific.thomson.com/support/techsupport/. Once the toll free number is found, the user has to navigate through at least two recorded menu options; however, during business hours, it is always possible to connect with a live help technician. Requests can also be submitted via an online help form, from the Thomson service website. Because Thomson is such a large and well-established company, live help lines are provided for the following regions: in the USA, for Europe/the Middle East/Africa (same number for all three), for Asia/the Pacific (in Singapore), for Japan, China, Korea, and Australia/New Zealand.
