Viewing Results
The following section contains subjective comments about the system that represent our editor's opinions, and should not be viewed as fact. Editor's opinions include positive and negative judgments about the product written in consideration of wider context, including related products and the industry at large. Further subjective information is presented in clearly labeled "Editor's Notes" throughout the report.
Viewing results in text-based Dialog has traditionally been a relatively slow and laborious undertaking compared to the more modern search systems. Results are simply listed in the scrolling text of the Retrieve Buffer and any further inspection or "tagging" of results is performed by entering commands into the Type Ahead Buffer.
Results are listed in text form in the Retrieve Buffer, as shown in the above screenshot.
Luckily, in DialogLink, the result list is also presented in a new window called the "Picklist". This window provides a more user-friendly result list. Continue to the next section for a screenshot and more details.
