Number Search
The number search form will support an application, priority or publication number search. Although all these fields can be searched individually from the Advanced page, this form simplifies the interface by providing a single search box. This interface is also quite useful if the type of number is not known.
The Number Search Form.
The instructions that appear directly above the input box state that the country code is optional (this is also true for the document number fields on the Advanced search form). However, the Quick Help topics instruct that if a space is left between the code and the number, the search will not work. Other useful tips about acceptable input are included in the Quick Help files.
