Security
Users have the option to register an account for free (by providing a valid email address), which then allows them to save results, searches, and create alerts. There is no secure login option, but login session does time out in fairly short periods of inactivity (around 15 minutes). Login information can be saved with a cookie. There are no known security breaches that have occurred at FreePatentsOnline.
