Saving Results
IP.com does not have the ability to save search queries, nor does it offer any search history functionality. However, individual records can be saved to the user’s “Briefcase.” Documents stored in the briefcase can be reviewed later and the full text versions may be ordered from within the briefcase.
Documents saved to briefcase are stored there indefinitely, or until manually removed.
Documents of interest can be saved to the briefcase from either the result list screen or the individual record screen. In both cases, this is done by clicking on the small briefcase icon labeled “Add to briefcase.”
Documents saved in the briefcase can later be ordered in full text PDF form.
