Standardized Assignee or Inventor Names

Standardized assignee and inventor names are not provided for in Inspec. Names generally appear surname first and are followed by initials and any suffixes appended to the name (i.e., Smith, J.D., Jr.).[1] Up to the first 400 authors of a multi-authored publication are included and may be searched. Asian names appear as listed in the original document.
