Pricing Policy
The Knovel library can be searched by anyone for free, but full text access to most titles is restricted. The unit Converter and Periodic Table tools are freely available. Knovel also provides free access to a few titles when a user provides contact information.
Access to the paid content of the website is available on an annual subscription basis, with the user choosing the subjects they wish to access and the number of concurrent users. Access can be tailored to fit the needs of the user if necessary. This can be done by allowing access to some subject collections in a given subscription package, and restricting others.
Some titles on Knovel are designated as "premium content", due to being an exceptionally important title or at the request of a publisher. Some users may have basic access to Knovel, but may need to pay extra charges to view the full text of this premium content. Pricing for premium content is not available on Knovel's website.
