Document Delivery
Patent document images can be ordered through Questel on Imagination, but it is not a simple process. Document Delivery in the Pharm file is available using the “OR” (order?) command, which requires the user to input a list of desired patent numbers and some additional information. Patent facsimiles are delivered via e-mail (see Pricing for more information).
No patent document delivery options are available through ChemAxon's JChem.
As an alternative, rather than ordering the document facsimile image, users may choose to have document data (such as full text and images) exported into a number of different file formats (see Export Functions for more information).
To obtain patent copies of a results list found through these search systems, the easiest method may be to print a list of document numbers from the results set, and obtain the copies through another service, such as Questel-Orbit Qweb, QPAT, or a free document service such as FreePatentsOnline, Espacenet, the USPTO website, or others.
