Login and Logoff
The system is accessed via the MicroPatent main page, at http://www.micropat.com. A secure login option (via a SSL connection) is also available from this page.
Users are logged off the system after 30 minutes of inactivity. This feature promotes security but can be an irritant, if users switch between programs or are frequently called away. Currently, there is no way to change this setting.
According to system information, a session with moderate browsing activity will last up to 4 hours.
