|The PatAnalyst search system has been discontinued by JOUVE. The company is now focused on providing IT services to the EPO and other national patent offices such as services related to publication and patent data management (digitalization, publication, patent procedure management interface).|
The manual input menu in PatAnalyst serves as a method of importing document numbers. The documents can be imported to a preexisting working list or a new working list can be created on the spot.
Further importing functions include importing saved log files, user defined layouts, and cross-files. Cross files are simple text files containing a list of patent document numbers. These files can be imported to another database to further search the data.
PatAnalyst is very strict in accepting patent number formats including the correct spacing and content of numbers, commas and kind codes. Additional care may need to be exercised when importing a list of document numbers.
