Belgium
QPAT obtains bibliographic data, drawings, and full text data for Belgium’s patent documents from the EPO as part of the Global Patent Project. The text was created by OCR technology, and may contain some misinterpreted characters or incomplete text.
The BEFULL file contains full text records for Belgium’s patent publications from 1925 to the present. One full text document is available per one patent family.
This collection is searchable by IPC, but is not searchable by ECLA classification.
These full text files do not contain updated IPC or ECLA classification data. They only contain the original IPC classification data published for the record at time of issue. Since IPC classifications are commonly revised and updated, searching by classification in these files will not be querying the most recently updated classification data. Only the bibliographic FamPat and PlusPat files contain updated classification data.
These records include titles and abstracts in English, Dutch, French, or German and description and claims in Dutch, French, or German.
