Searchable Datafields
In QPAT, the search form does not allow the search to run in all the data fields that are actually allowed by the collections; the command line interface provides more options in this regard. Some discussion of the searchable data fields through the web form and command line is available in the Search Form and The Command Line Interface sections presented earlier in this article.
Searchable data fields also vary by the data collection that is being searched. Questel hosts a collection of database fact sheets on its website, which should be consulted whenever it is unclear whether a data field is searchable for a given collection. This documentation is available at the Questel website.
