Citation Coverage
Patent document citation information can be found in the DPCI and INPADOCDB files:
- DPCI contains more than 98 million patent citations and more than 11 million literature citations from 1973 to present.[1]
- The INPADOCDB database contains more than 85 million patent and non-patent citations from 26 authorities from 1943 to present.[2]
For data files that contain patent citation information such as USPATFULL, USPAT2, and USPATOLD, cited documents are searchable and displayable in the Citation (CIT) data field.
