The Surf-IP search platform ceases operation as of September 30, 2011. A list of websites of other IP offices where users can conduct patent, trademark, and design searches will be posted by IPOS after Surf-IP ceases operations.

The Hit List

Results are displayed simply, as seen in the screenshot below. Only the publication number, title, source name, and relevance are shown in the results. Tabs separate the search results by source, so the user can view all results or just the results from one particular source. If the results are too numerous to display on one page (typically 50 is the limit, although 25 and 10 appear on occasion), then the user can view more results over multiple pages with the Next button.
