Innovation’s French coverage includes a single file encompassing both patent and utility model applications, including A1 (published patent applications) and A3 (published utility model applications) among other A-stage publications.[1] The collection extends from 1971-present. Comprehensive coverage of front page drawings are available from 1992. Full text data is in French, and the file is updated biweekly.[1]
Text sections of the collection are created using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, so errors in the electronic text should be expected. Bibliographic data, including abstracts, is provided electronically from the French Patent Office (INPI) or the European Patent Office (EPO).[1]
Editor's Note:These French document texts have been indexed without diacritical marks. Search terms entered into the system containing these marks will be first converted into unaccented text by the system.
