Rare Full Text Authorities and English Machine Translation Data – TotalPatent offers at least 31 full text authorities and English machine translations, far more than the typical major seven authorities offered by most competitors. See the Data Coverage section for more information.
Among its unique data collections, TotalPatent contains full-text granted patents from the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (formerly the British Patent Office) from 1982 to the present. TotalPatent is the only data provider known to offer access to full text and PDF versions of these New Series pre-2002 GB granted documents.
Split pane viewing layout – TotalPatent offers a reference viewing interface that allow split-pane viewing. See the Hit List section for more information.
Corporate data – TotalPatent offers a corporate hierarchy search tool, which relies on DCA (the Directory of Corporate Affiliations) data produced by LexisNexis. See the Corporate Data Tree section for more information.
Syntax converter – To ease the transition from other search tools, TotalPatent offers a syntax converter that will change Delphion or MicroPatent-appropriate search syntax into syntax that is compatible with TotalPatent. See the Advanced Search Form section for more information.
