Supported File Formats

VantagePoint imports three main types of data: raw data files, database tables, and XML data. Each type of data has its own import function, further explained in The Importing Process. The file formats for each data type are shown below:

Raw Data File - .dat, .txt, .csv, .tag, .trn, .xls, .xlsx, .mdb, .accdb, .xml

Database Table - .xls, .xlsx, .mdb, .accdb

XML Data - .xml files only
