New Intellogist Content

New Intellogist Blog!

This month the Intellogist team is very excited to announce the launch of our new blog, and our first post contains a call to action for the patent searching community! We're committed to growing our user base further by garnering more new users, generating more repeat traffic, and creating more involvement within our registered user base. Over the next six months, we'll be posting regular updates to our blog about the progress of this effort. We'll also be keeping you up-to-date on the latest patent information news, posting Intellogist content updates, and even addressing a few patent search questions from our users!

PatBase

The Intellogist team recently completed a full review of our PatBase report, and have reviewed the multiple system features that have been added since early 2009, including a chemical name thesaurus, expanded full text data coverage for Korean documents, and additional analysis features.

SureChem

The Intellogist team also recently performed a full update of our SureChem article, and highlighted multiple new features of the system, such as the addition of a Patent Abstracts of Japan collection.

Other System Updates

Over the last month, our content editors have been busy keeping Intellogist content up-to-date! We have performed full, in-depth, reviews of the following system reports to ensure we have the most accurate content available: SurfIP, FreePatentsOnline, and SumoBrain. None of these companies has announced major updates since the last full updates were performed to their reports.

Featured Discussion Topics

The Intellogist discussion forum is a place for our users to share their questions about patent searching. This month, we've had users discussing a "wishlist" of features they'd like to see added to Minesoft's PatBase system. If there are any features you’d like to see added to the list join the discussion by posting here.

Search System Updates

esp@cenet

This month, the EPO released a number of major updates to the EPO's esp@cenet service. Full text data for European (EP) published applications and Patent Cooperation Treaty (WO/PCT) published applications is now searchable! In addition, the service now supports keyword highlighting, and more than four search terms per field can be used in a search.
